Real Estate Law
Alain Rapaport is the partner in charge of real estate law at Carler.
Alain Rapaport was admitted to the Paris Bar in 1976 and holds a postgraduate degree DEA in general private law (Paris II).
His meeting with a building administrator and a condominium manager at the time he set up his practice decided everything: he quickly developed a “niche” activity in real estate law, real estate contract law, and particularly in commercial lease law, establishing himself as one of the major players in the very closed circle of professionals in this highly specialized sector.
His advices is particularly valued by the real estate sector: property managers, co-ownership trustees, landlords, real estate companies and institutional players trust him for all the problems they encounter.
Alain Rapaport also assists and advises several retail groups, hotel groups, property managers and real estate investors on commercial leases and co-ownership law. He assists and advises them in particular in the context of transactions and lease negotiations, but also represents them before the courts specialized in this area, the litigation part of his activity being very important.
He has also developed an extensive practice in co-ownership law.
Everyone appreciates his experience, his technicality, his ability to deal with complex legal issues, and above all his availability, establishing with him relationships strongly tinged with intuitu personae.
In parallel to this niche activity, Alain Rapaport has also developed over time an expertise in construction law, a field which today represents nearly a third of his business volume, intervening in this area for building companies, individuals and co-ownership associations.
